Background
When something goes wrong with a job you're processing the Enfocus Library generates an error code to indicate what caused the job to fail.

Solution
Here is an overview of the most common error codes you can encounter:

  • 6007,6008,6009, 7079 = There is a problem with your ICC profiles, color information may prove to be incorrect. Please contact Enfocus Support for further assistance to solve this problem.
  • 7010,7011 = The path to the PDF Profiles database is not correct. Please contact Enfocus Support for further assistance to solve this issue.
  • 7012 = The PDF Profile used is not a correct PDF profile, please check the validity of the PDF Profile you're using and retry.
  • 7014 = Failed to open the source file, please check this is a valid file. When you start a new job from within Enfocus Instant PDF your source file has to be either a PDF or a PS file.
  • 7021 = The source document is a Preflight Report document. Processing stopped. Instant PDF will not process Preflight Report documents generated by an Enfocus product.
  • 7025 = The Action List used is not a correct Enfocus Action List. Please check the validity of the Action List and retry.
  • 7030 = The source document is not a valid PDF file. Processing stopped.
  • 7031 = Error while saving the processed document. Check if you have writing permissions on the folder you designated as the destination for the processed file. If you keep getting the problem please contact Enfocus Support for further assistance to solve this issue.
  • 7044 = The source document requires a password. Processing stopped.
  • 7047 = The language files for the selected language are not present. Please reinstall or contact Enfocus Support for further assistance.
  • 7048 = The color space used in the source document is not supported. Please contact Enfocus Support for further assistance.
  • 7049 = The source document is an Certified PDF Edit Log. Processing stopped.
  • 7070 = There is a problem originated in your color management settings. Please contact Enfocus Support for further assistance.
  • 7084, 7603 = Processing encrypted files is not supported.
  • 7089 = The processed file is an Enfocus Action List. Processing stopped.
  • 7090 = The processed file is an Enfocus PDF Profile. Processing stopped.
  • 7091 = The source document is a PDF file that cannot be edited.
  • 7904 = You have insufficient rights to perform this operation. Please contact your administrator or contact Enfocus Support for more info.
