To send emails from SWITCH you have to setup the email preferences. Open the “Preferences” dialog window. Click the “Mail send ” category and edit the settings. To know the technical information you need to setup these preferences, check with your system administrator.

If all email settings are setup correctly, the problem could be connected to the way you have instructed the flow to handle unique names for files. SWITCH adds a unique prefix to all files processed in a flow. The mail tool needs to receive files that contain this unique prefix in order to correctly send out emails.

If you configure a folder in the flow to strip the unique prefix from file names before those files arrive at the mail tool, emails will not be sent out.
