How to Upgrade PitStop Workgroup Manager to a newer version.
Background The PitStop Workgroup Manager has processes that run in the background. It is important that these processes aren't running when you are running the update.
Please follow the steps corresponding to your operating system to update PitStop Workgroup Manager to a newer version.
Windows: 1) Make sure you are logged in as administrator during the complete procedure. Also, make sure that UAC (User Account Control) is turned off. (UAC is not available in Windows XP, don't worry if you can't find it on this Operating System.) 2) Uninstall PitStop Workgroup Manager from the Control Panel. 3) Reboot the computer. 4) Run the PitStop Workgroup Manager update installer. The installer can be downloaded from the following page: link 5) Start the PitStop Workgroup Manager.
Mac 1) Make sure you are logged in as administrator during the complete procedure. 2) Go to Applications > Enfocus License Server (or Applications > Enfocus Network License Manager) 3) Double click on "Server stop" to quit processes. 4) Open the Activity Monitor and close the "WorkgroupManager" Process run by "root." 5) Run the PitStop Workgroup Manager update installer.
