Solution Title
Embedding double-byte fonts

Solution Details
Symptoms
When I change a font and request that the new font is embedded, the Inspector panel will keep showing that the font is not embedded. PitStop does not display an error saying that the font can't be embedded. If I preflight the document, the font is logged as not embedded as well.
Cause
The reason for this behavior is that double-byte fonts have to be subsetted when they are embedded in a PDF document. This means that only those characters that are used in the document are embedded in the document. To make sure that the correct characters are embedded, Acrobat delays subsetting and embedding of double-byte fonts until the document is saved by the user.
Solution
Save the document – afterward both the Inspector and the Preflight Report will correctly show the font as embedded.
