Solution TitleAcrobat crashes or gives a Type 2 error at start-up when PitStop is installed.

Solution Details

I just installed PitStop Professional, and now when I launch Acrobat, it shows a Type 2 or Type 3 error.  Acrobat will start loading its plug-ins, but crashes when initializing PitStop. When I uninstall PitStop, Acrobat works again.

As described in our Read-Me file, PitStop Professional needs at least 64MB allocated. When you install Adobe Acrobat, only 16MB is automatically allocated to Acrobat. But as PitStop is loaded by Acrobat, this is not sufficient.

Allocate at least 64MB memory to Acrobat (Mac only).
