Background

After upgrading to Windows 10 with Connect 13, my connectors don't launch anymore. 

Solution

A clean uninstall and reinstall of the Connector is required to resolve the issue. Follow the steps below:

  • Via Task Manager, end the "Print Processor" and any Connectors that are running.
  • Remove the following files:
  • C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Enfocus\Connector\Printer
  • C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Enfocus\Connector\Cache\Settings\<your connectors unique ids>
  • C\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Enfocus\Connector\Cache\<build number of the Connect application which the connector was created>
  • C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\x64\3\<virtual printer name.ppd>
  • C:\Windows\Temp\<user name>\<Connector name>.ps
    (this would be any orphaned files left over from when the Connector stopped working)
  • Empty Trash
  • Reinstall the Connector
